Trivial - Why we wear rings?
Have you ever wonder how rings come about?
Have you ever heard of this guy called Prometheus? In Greek mythology, he was 'the guy' that bring knowledge and fire to mankind. Some believe that he is the creator of mankind using clay and water of Panopeus to form human in the likeness of gods.
Initially, Zeus punished him for sharing such secrets. Eventually, Zeus forgave Pormetheus with a condition that Prometheus had to wear a ring with a stone from the mountain where he was punished. This is the first ring to have a setting. To honor and as a gratitude to Prometheus, mankind wore rings.

Do you know why wedding rings worn on the third finger?
Ancient Greeks and Romans believed a vein or nerve linked this finger to the heart, Believed to be the seat of the emotions. A Roman scholar advised that wearing a ring stopped the heart's sentiments escaping.
